How to create a TurningPoint slide

First, open TurningPoint by double-clicking its icon on your desktop, or by using the Start menu. This will open the PowerPoint application with the TurningPoint toolbar at the top of the screen.

  1. Create a new PowerPoint presentation file from the PowerPoint menu.
  2. From the TurningPoint toolbar click the Insert Slide drop down menu.
  3. Select Vertical Slide from the list.
  4. Directly on the slide: Enter your question into the text box entitled “Enter Question Text...”.
  5. Now enter the correct and incorrect responses directly onto the slide in the text box entitled Enter answer text. After entering each response press Enter. Each response will then be identified either by a number or a letter.
  6. If you want, you can add further features to your slide, such as a countdown or a response counter, by clicking on the Insert Object menu.
  7. Congratulations! You have just created an interactive slide.
